BMTC Recruitment 2024: Invited Application for 2,500 post, qualification 2nd PUC Pass

BMTC Recruitment 2024: Here is a good news for those who dream of getting a government job. Karnataka Examinations Authority has invited applications to fill up approximately 2,500 bus Conductor vacancies in Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
Candidates with second PUC pass are eligible to apply. Interested candidates should apply online. Online application has to be submitted from March 10, last date is April 10.
BMTC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility:
Second PUC pass or ICSE / CBSE Class XII pass can apply. Also those who have passed 3 years diploma are also eligible. Must also possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and badge. Height should be 160 cm for men and 150 cm for women. Note: PUC/ 12th pass or JOC/ JLC courses from Open School or Open University are not eligible to apply.
BMTC Recruitment 2024 Age limits:
Minimum age of applicant is 18 years and maximum age is 35 years. There is relaxation in age limit according to reservation. 3 years for 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B candidates, 5 years for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Category-1 candidates and 10 years for Ex-Servicemen / Departmental candidates.
BMTC Recruitment 2024 Application fee:
Rs 750 for candidates belonging to General and OBC. And Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category-1, Ex-Serviceman and Specially Trained candidates Rs.500. Application fee should be paid online.

BMTC Recruitment 2024 Selection Method:
Candidates will be selected through Common Aptitude Test, physical fitness test. General Aptitude Test will be conducted in offline-OMR mode. There will be questions in Kannada and English, carrying 200 marks. Note that there are negative marks for wrong answer, be careful while writing.
This exam will be held at Bangalore, Mysore, Tumkur, Davangere, Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Belgavi, Dharwad, Bellary, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur and Kalaburgi centres. The admit card for the examination should be downloaded from the website of the Karnataka Examination Authority.

The date will be announced later. One original identity card such as PAN Card / License / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID / Government Servant ID should be produced along with the admit card to write the exam.
Candidates selected for administrative posts will be given one year vocational training. Rs 9,100 as monthly comprehensive training allowance will be given during this training period. Those who successfully complete this training are appointed to permanent pre-probationary service for a period of two years. Those who satisfactorily fulfil this will be made permanent by the appointing authority.
The notification said that the application should be submitted from March 10 through the website of Karnataka Examination Authority http://kea.kar.nic.in.
