A 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death allegedly by her boyfriend, a 20-year-old man – in a brutal murder in Delhi on Sunday, police in the national capital said Monday morning. Delhi 16-year-old girl murder case accused arrest.

A few moments later, the killer picked up a boulder lying nearby and started battering her. He hit her with the boulder five times even as people passed by, with nobody trying to intervene or stop the attack.

On Sunday evening, the girl was going to attend the birthday party of her friend’s son when Sahil attacked her with a knife. She was stabbed multiple times and hit with a boulder. When the police arrived, the girl’s body was found in a pool of blood.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal condemned the brutal murder and asked the L-G “to do something”.

He tweeted, “A minor girl is brutally murdered openly in Delhi. This is very sad and unfortunate. Criminals have become fearless. There is no fear of the police. L-G sir, law and order is your responsibility. Do something. The safety of the people of Delhi is of paramount importance.”
