Gujarat: Husband took his wife to a hotel and sold her for Rs 500. Gujarat men, who paid for the woman, allegedly raped her at a secluded spot.
The cops, who were apprised of the case on Friday, acted promptly on the complaint and arrested the persons involved within 24 hours. Police station in-charge Madanlal Kadvasra said that one of the accused has been identified as Sonu Sharma.

The incident came to light when the 21-year-old woman approached the police and lodged a complaint. The woman, who was married to a Mau resident, went to the Lucky Hotel at around 9 pm on Thursday.
During this time, Sonu Sharma approached the woman’s husband and offered him Rs 500 in exchange for her. Following this, the accused accepted the money and allegedly sold off his wife. Sharma took the woman to a secluded spot where he allegedly raped her.
