Several people suffered injuries after more than a dozen vehicles collided on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway on Sunday morning due to heavy fog. Several people, including school students, were injured following a collision between a dozen vehicles on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway. The accident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat near Pali village on the national highway 709 B on Sunday when more than a dozen vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, and school buses, collided amid low visibility.

According to the details, the school bus was from the Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research in Baghpat. The students were on their way to take part in a marathon in Delhi.One of the students said nearly 24 students were on board the bus at the time of the accident.

She said as their bus was about to collide with a parked vehicle, the driver used brakes to reduce the impact, but another depot bus rammed into their bus, leaving several injured.

Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and sent the injured people to the nearby district hospital. Rescuers have also reached the spot and are ensuring immediate help for the victims. Police are investigating the matter.
