School headmaster shows obscene video to 9-year-old girl and sexually assaults

School headmaster in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur allegedly showed an obscene video clip to 9-year-old girl and raped her. Minor survivor’s girl father registered a case against the headmaster and police detained him.

The complainant stated that the incident occurred when his nine-year-old girl, a student of Class 4, had gone to her school in Sitapur’s Gondlamau block. The headmaster allegedly called the minor to a room on the school premises, where he allegedly showed her a lewd video.

He locked the room from inside when the girl cried and resisted. After this, he allegedly forced himself on the minor, according to a timesnow news reported. The minor later narrated her harrowing ordeal before her father, who then lodged a complaint with the police in connection with the incident.

The police, on the basis of the complaint, filed a case of rape against the headmaster and detained him. Relevant charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act have also been invoked against him.
