Road Accident: Truck collide with Bus on Agra Expressway due to heavy fog: 4 people died

Unnao: Three men died on the spot while one woman died on the way to the hospital. Dense fog has covered many parts of North India, due to which the life of common people has become chaotic. Four people were killed and several others injured when a bus collided with a truck in Unnao on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in thick fog this morning. Additional Superintendent of Police Shashi Shekhar Singh said that the bus was going to Nepal from Rajkot in Gujarat. The accident took place in Auras area of Unnao. Three men died on the spot while one woman died on the way to the hospital. A bus carrying 60 passengers collided with a truck from behind on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, unable to see the road due to fog. Today, not only Uttar Pradesh but also various other states were covered in fog which caused delays in trains and flights. According to Indian Railways, a total of 267 trains have been canceled till 11 am today due to fog. Around 170 out of 170 trains from Punjab, Bihar, Rajasthan and other places ran late. Around 180 flights were delayed due to inclement weather in Delhi.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), Punjab’s Bathinda, Agra, Bareilly and Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow were covered in complete fog by 5.30 am. At the same time, many parts of Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi were unable to see roads due to fog. 25 meters visibility was recorded at Safdarjung and Palam in Delhi.
