Bengaluru: An interior designer has been arrested by police at the HSR Layout Station on charges of attempting to rape two young women in Corona’s corporate (government) quarantine.
Jaishankar, who is Uttar Pradesh based, has returned from Mumbai, was kept in the same quarantine centre with victims.
On Thursday, the accused allegedly committed indecent acts against the young women, police said. Jaishankar, who lived in Srirampura, had been rude to the young woman. She was saved by the people in Quarantine when she cried.
Then he attempted to rape her friend, when victim goes to her friend room and started expaling her about how cruel act has happened with her. The victims lodged a complaint with the HSR layout station police. According to officials, the accused is under arrest.
