Chikkaballapur: A car collided with a pushcart and two bikes, killing one person on the spot and injuring three others, which took place near Chinnasandra in Chikkaballapur. A sleeping car collided with a pusher near Chinnasandra in Chintamani taluk of Chikkaballapur district and then collided with two bikes. Syed Basir (65), a resident of Chinnasandra, who was pushing the cart, died on the spot.
Three people namely Zakir, Fairoz Khan and Zaheer were injured while still moving on the bike. He was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. It is being said that the reason for the accident was that the driver was asleep. On reaching the spot, the police of Chintamani rural station took the driver into custody, registered a case and are investigating.
Free electric scooter for girl students for If JDS get in to power: Former CM HD Kumaraswamy announcement
Bengaluru: Former CM Kumaraswamy has announced that free electric scooters will be given to female students of Bandra when JDS comes to power in the state. Former CM Kumaraswamy announced that if the JD(S) wins the election and comes to power, the government will provide free electrical scooters to the female students.
