Bengaluru: A man has been killed his wife and mother in law and then committed suicide in Kolkata on Monday. A white filed senior police officer told that based on information received from the Kolkata police, Mahadevpura Police went to the apartment of accused’s wife Shilpi Agarwal and she did not open the door, the lock was broken open.
The dead body of the Shilpi Agarwal was found lying on the floor of the kitchen next to a cupboard. Prima facie it looks like she has been murdered but it subject to official confirmation by post mortem. One suicide note found. Allegedly written by Amit Agarwal has been found in the apartment and said he killed both and then ended his life. A case of murder has been taken up and further investigations are on. As per Kolkata police both husband and wife were not staying together from last 2 years,
They had 10 year old son, after killing wife, he took his son to Kolkata dropped him to his relative house and went to mother in-laws house he shot mother in law first but could not kill father in law, he escaped locking accused inside home when Kolkata police reached there they found him dead, the accused shot himself by same gun. Further investigation going on officer told, police also collecting more information.
