Major Road accident in Belagavi 11 people dead on Sunday morning near the Kalyal Pool in Belgavi. Major road accident, 11 dead and others injured. 7 died on the spot and 3 died on way to hospital.
Another person died in hospital, police sources said. It is also learned that many people were injured in the accident. Workers arrived in the morning for work in a cruiser vehicle. It is learned that the deceased are from the Akkathangerahara village of Gokak taluk’s.

All the villagers were coming to belagavi for work from their village. There are over 18 workers in the vehicle. An ambulance and marihala station police were visited the spot and working on the rescue. The names of the deceased are still unknown. Police Commissioner Bora Lingayya visited the spot. According to the preliminary report, the death toll may be increasing.
