Karkala: Nine people were killed on Saturday, February 15 close Mala after the voyager transport they were traveling hammered with a roadside rock. The character of the died is yet to be found.
As per sources, 35 passanger from Mysuru had come to Udupi and were made a beeline for Mangaluru when the disaster happened. Rada(21),Ravi(22), Basavaraj(22) ,Anujna(21) P Ranjitha(22), Preetham Gawda(22), sarol(21), Yogendra(21) and transport driver Maruthi are passedaway.
All vacationer are Germany based Whital Record organization worker. amoung the inujured, 8 have been shifted to manipal hospital, and to other city hospital in karkala. Atleest four of the injured pasengers are said to be serious. the sources said that the bus had faced some techinical snag and had been repaired at a garage in kalasa.
