A horrible incident of rape of a woman patient has been reported from Jaipur hospital in Rajasthan. The incident has been reported from Shalby Hospital in the state capital on Monday night. The accused ward boy repeatedly molested the woman patient admitted to ICU. The victim had undergone surgery and was later shifted to ICU.
The victim had a mask and her hands were tied. After the incident, the women kept crying the whole night. When the woman tried to inform a nurse about the incident, she was silenced by the accused by threatening her. Later, the victim narrated her ordeal to her husband in the morning. The woman’s husband said she was taken to Shalby hospital after she fell ill. Later, she was operated upon.
The woman’s husband was told by hospital staff that he can’t stay with the patient. The husband then returned home. When he returned in the morning, the woman cried and narrated her ordeal in writing as she wasn’t able to speak. Meanwhile, the police said they are probing the case and scanning the CCTV footage. “This incident is very serious.
The woman’s husband filed a case at Chitrakoot police station. The police have initiated the probe to identify the accused by taking into custody the duty roster and CCTV footage. The accused lives on Agra Road. We have arrested the accused and are questioning him,” DCP Pradeep Mohan Sharma.
