Explosive material and a letter found near Mukesh Ambani’s house in Mumbai

A SUV, Scorpio containing 20 gelatin sticks was found outside Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s house in Antilia in Mumbai on February 25.

The abandoned Scorpio was spotted by the Ambani’s security on Thursday evening and the Police was informed. After examining the vehicle, around gelatin sticks were found inside it. Later bomb squad was also called to the spot.

Mumbai Police reaction

”20 gelatin sticks have been found inside the vehicle. Not an assembled explosive device” confirmed a senior Mumbai Police Officer.

FIR registered

FIR has been registered at the Gamdevi Police Station regarding the same. IPC Sections 286, 465, 473, 506 (2), 120 (B) and Section four of Explosive Substances Act, 1908 has been included in FIR.

Number plates found

Few number plates were also found inside the SUV. The number plates inside the vehicle reportedly matched vehicles used in the security detail of Mukesh Ambani.

Police have also revealed that a letter was found from the vehicle but its content has not been made public yet.

According to the police, details regarding the suspicious vehicle are being investigated and CCTVs in the area are being scanned by officials from the Mumbai Crime Branch.

CCTV Footage

Preliminary CCTV footage shows that Scorpio was parked near Antilia around 1 am on Thursday. In footage Scorpio and Innova can be seen. The driver of the Scorpio parked the car near Mukhesh Ambani’s house and left in Innova.
