Deepika Padukone Questioned For 6 Hours by Anti-Drugs Agency

Mumbai: Actor Deepika Padukone left the Narcotics Control Bureau’s office this evening, six hours after she arrived for questioning in a drug probe linked ti the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigation.

The actor arrived at the Evelyn Guest House in Mumbai’s Colaba, where the Narcotics Control Bureau’s Special Investigation Team has sept u the base. Whereas actor Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, both of whom are being questioned separately at the NCB’s Ballard Estate office

Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash, who was interrogated on Friday, is likely to be called again today. MS. Prakash’s questioning went on for much longer than actor Rakul Preet Singh’s which lasted four hours, said sources. The NCB questioned Rakul Preet Singh and Karishma Prakash about the contents of WhatsApp chat which allegedly indicated marijuana was bought for consumption.

During the questioning of Ms. Chakraborty’s name of Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan have emerged, who was arrested on September 9 on the charges of buying drugs. Rhea Chakraborty who is currently at the Byculla Jail in Mumbai has been accused of  “being an active member of a drug syndicate” and organizing drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput, who she dated in his final months.

Whereas Rhea Chakraborty has denied the allegation leveled by the NCB that she is an active member of a “drug syndicate”. The name of Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor was revealed in the WhatsApp chats retrieved from the phone of Sushant Sinh Rajput’s talent agent Jaya Saha, who is also being questioned by the investigators.

Sara Ali Khan was also Sushant Singh Rajput’s co-star in the film “Kedarnath”; Sushant Rajput developed a drug habit while shooting the film, as per Rhea Chakraborty’s bail petition before Bombay High Court.
