Coast Guard operation: Huge quantity of liquor seized in Karwar

Karwar: Coast Guard seized huge quantity of liquor from Goa by sea at Karwar. A team led by CSP Inspector Nischalakumar raided and seized the illegally transported liquor. Liquor worth Rs.1,50,840 including 576 bottles of beer worth Rs 63,360. Goa fenny and whiskey worth Rs 58,880 were seized from the boat. Congress former MLA Manohar Tehsildar officially joins JDS party

Bengaluru: Former MLA Manohar Tehsildar has officially joined JDS, not getting Congress ticket from Hanagal assembly constituency. In a program held at JDS party office in Bengaluru, former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy. In the presence of Ibrahim, Manohar Tahsildar has joined JDS. Manohar Tehsildar will contest from JDS in this assembly election.

The Congress has already released the first list of candidates for the Karnataka assembly elections, MLA Srinivas Mane has been given the ticket instead of Manohar Tahsildar who was aspirant for Hanagal constituency ticket. In this background, Manohar, who has left the Congress, has joined the JDS.
