Bihar: The body of a 20 year old man was found in the bushes of an area in Bihar’s Sitamarhi. The police said the man was attacked more than a hundred times with a knife. According to the police, Chintu’s body and face bore deep knife cuts.Police said the deceased had been missing from his house since Tuesday and his body was found by locals in the area on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chintu’s brother accused one Rama Mahato, his neighbour, of the murder. He said Chintu and Mahato got into an argument on Holi (March 8, 2023).
The deceased’s brother told the police that Chintu got married a month ago and used to work as a scrap dealer. Meanwhile, locals in the area blockaded the street in the wake of the incident. Police said several routes to the area were restricted and the traffic had to be diverted. Further, the police said they had registered the statement of the deceased’s brother and that the accused would be arrested at the earliest.
