While household budgets have been spared, the increase in commercial rates is expected to impact the operating costs of hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.

19 kg Commercial Cylinder:

The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has been hiked by approximately ₹111 nationwide.

Bangalore: The price increased by ₹110.50, bringing the new rate to approximately ₹1,764.50.

Delhi: Increased by ₹111, reaching ₹1,691.50.

Mumbai: Increased to ₹1,642.50.

Chennai: Saw a steep rise to ₹1,849.50.

47.50 kg Commercial Cylinder:

For larger industrial and heavy commercial use, the 47.50 kg cylinder has seen a massive jump.

Price Increase: ₹274.50

New Price: Approximately ₹4,407 to ₹4,437 (depending on the state/city and local taxes).

Domestic LPG (14.2 kg):

There is no change in the price of domestic cooking gas. It remains stable at the rates set in April 2025.

Current Rate (Avg): ₹853 (varies slightly by state, e.g., ₹855.50 in Bangalore).

Domestic – 14.2 kg – Unchanged – ₹853.00

Commercial – 19 kg – Hiked (₹111)- ₹1,691.50 (Delhi)

FTL Small Commercial – 5 kg – Hiked (₹27) – ₹350.00 (Avg)

This revision follows the monthly practice where Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) like IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL adjust fuel prices based on international benchmarks and currency exchange rates.

Interestingly, while LPG went up, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices were actually cut by about 7% today, providing some relief to the airline industry.
