TVS Ronin Sales Surge as Company Prepares to Launch New Cafe Racer Version
TVS Ronin motorcycle continues to gain popularity with rising sales in India. The company is now preparing to expand the lineup with a stylish Cafe Racer version.

TVS Ronin gains strong sales momentum
The TVS Ronin motorcycle has been witnessing strong demand in the Indian market, encouraging the company to expand its lineup. According to recent sales figures, more than 8000 units of the Ronin were purchased in February 2026 alone, highlighting the growing popularity of the model among riders.
The increasing demand has prompted TVS Motor Company to consider introducing a new variant to attract even more customers. The company is reportedly preparing to launch a new Cafe Racer version of the Ronin in the near future.
Cafe Racer version likely to join the Ronin lineup
To strengthen the Ronin range, TVS has recently filed a design patent for the upcoming Cafe Racer variant. This step suggests that the company is actively working on bringing the new model to the market soon.
The Ronin has already built a strong reputation within a short period, and expanding the range with a new design focused variant could further increase its appeal among motorcycle enthusiasts.
Sporty design expected in new Ronin Cafe Racer
The upcoming Cafe Racer version is expected to feature several styling changes compared to the standard Ronin model. Reports suggest the bike could come with a sporty quarter fairing, low mounted clip on handlebars and rear set footpegs.
The design may also include a single seat setup and a shorter exhaust, giving the motorcycle a classic Cafe Racer look. These changes are expected to enhance both the visual appeal and the riding posture.
Feature upgrades and instrument cluster changes
In terms of features, the new Ronin Cafe Racer could introduce some visual and functional updates. The instrument cluster is expected to maintain the round shape but with a slightly different design compared to the standard version.
The motorcycle may also get new graphics and sportier tires to match the aggressive styling. These updates are aimed at giving the bike a more performance oriented character.
Engine performance and riding dynamics
The upcoming variant is expected to continue using the same 225.9cc engine that powers the current Ronin model. This engine produces around 20.4 PS of power and 19.93 Nm of torque.
However, the company may make adjustments to the suspension setup and riding dynamics to deliver a more stable and sport focused riding experience.
Launch timeline still awaited
TVS has not yet officially confirmed the launch date for the Ronin Cafe Racer version. However, with the design patent already filed, industry observers believe the motorcycle could be introduced in the Indian market sometime in the coming months.
