Bad news for car lovers Tata Motors on Saturday said it has increased prices of its passenger vehicles with effect from November 7. Tata Motors hike price on these cars, check new price list. The Indian automaker sells cars like Tata Nexon, Safari, Harrier, Tiago, Tigor, and others.

Tata Motors Company has been absorbing a significant portion of the increased costs but the steep rise in overall input costs has compelled it to pass on some proportion through this minimal price hike, it added. The company sells a range of passenger vehicles like Tata Nexon, Tiago, Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari across the country.

Tata Motors reported strong sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market in October. The home-grown auto major said its PV sales, including electric vehicles, in the domestic market, were at 45,423 units as compared to 34,155 units in the same month last year, up 33%.

Tata Motors recently launched the Tiago EV in the domestic market, priced at Rs8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs11.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Tiago EV is offered with two battery packs–a small battery pack measuring 19.2kWh and a large battery pack 24kWh. The small battery pack delivers a claimed range of 250 km. While the large battery pack delivers a driving range of 315 km.
