Renault Duster new generation ready to launch: Know feature and launch date
Renault is gearing up to launch its new generation Duster SUV in India and the new car model will get an updated engine option along with several premium features.
Renault Duster: Dutch car manufacturing company Renault is gearing up to launch its new generation Duster SUV in India and the new car model will get an updated engine option along with several premium features. Renault India, which has created a new sensation in the sale of medium-sized cars, is soon preparing to launch its new generation Duster SUV and will officially showcase the new car on 29th of this month.
The Renault company, which is currently gaining huge demand in India through its new platform Kiger, Triber and Kwid cars, stopped the sale of the Duster SUV last year due to some reasons. Now it has got a massive makeover with new generation features and is expected to give a tough competition to the rival cars.
The new Renault Duster SUV is developed under the localized CMF-B modular platform, which will take several design inspirations from the Dacia Bigster model in the international market. Besides, the new car model with modern technology inspiration will attract more customers with sporty design.

In the backdrop of huge demand for compact SUVs in India, the new Duster can be offered with various engine options as per customer preference, and the new car is also getting a hybrid version along with petrol. According to the information, the new Duster will be available with a 120 horsepower 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, a 140 horsepower 1.2 liter petrol hybrid and a 170 horsepower 1.3 liter flux fuel compliant 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine.

While Renault will offer three engine options for the new Duster in the international markets, only the 1.0 turbo petrol and 1.2 liter petrol hybrid engines will be available in India. The hybrid model in the new car will be an alternative to high mileage diesel engine cars in the compact SUV segment and Renault Company is already conducting several market studies regarding the launch of the new variant.
With this, the new Duster car model could be launched in late 2024 or early 2025 and it will give a tough competition to the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Tigun, Skoda Kushak, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider.
