Karnataka 1st puc results 2026 declared, students can check scores online

Bengaluru : The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has officially announced the results of the First Pre-University Course (1st PUC) annual examinations for the year 2026. Lakhs of students who appeared for the exams held across the state in February and March can now access their results online.
Students can check their marks through the official results portal karresults.nic.in by entering their registration number and date of birth. Along with the online release, colleges have also been instructed to display the results on their notice boards for easy access.
The board has provided a simple process for students to download their marks cards. Candidates must visit the official website, click on the ‘1st PUC Annual Exam Result 2026’ link, enter their registration details, select their stream (Science, Arts, or Commerce), and submit the information. The result will then be displayed on the screen, which can be downloaded or printed for future reference.
Due to heavy traffic on the website, students may face temporary delays in accessing their results. Authorities have advised students to remain patient and try again after some time if the page fails to load. Alternatively, they can also check results directly at their respective colleges.
For students who are not satisfied with their marks, the board has opened provisions for revaluation and re-totalling of answer scripts. Candidates must apply within the stipulated timeline set by KSEAB. Detailed guidelines regarding the application process are expected to be released shortly.
Meanwhile, students who have failed in one or more subjects will be given an opportunity to appear for supplementary examinations. While the official schedule for these exams has not yet been announced, sources indicate that they are likely to be conducted within the next two months, following a pattern similar to previous academic years.
Education experts have urged students not to panic and to explore all available options, including revaluation and supplementary exams, to improve their performance. Schools and colleges have also been asked to provide necessary guidance and support during this period.
The declaration of results marks a crucial phase for students as they prepare to move forward in their academic journey, choosing streams and career paths based on their performance.
