Indian smartphone brand Lava International is gearing up to expand its budget lineup with the launch of the Lava Bold N2 Pro 4G, scheduled to debut on March 31. The company has already teased the device through a dedicated page on Flipkart, giving a clear glimpse into what buyers can expect.
The launch event is set for 12 pm, and early details suggest that the phone is designed to appeal to users looking for a balance between performance and affordability. With competition heating up in the entry level segment, Lava appears focused on delivering practical features rather than flashy upgrades.
At the center of the device is a 6.67 inch HD plus display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. While the resolution stays modest, the higher refresh rate could offer smoother scrolling and a better overall viewing experience, especially for everyday usage like browsing and social media.
Powering the smartphone is the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which Lava claims can achieve an AnTuTu score of around 240000. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM, along with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM support, aiming to improve multitasking performance for routine tasks.
Storage on the device is set at 128GB, which should be sufficient for most users in this segment. On the software front, the phone is expected to run on Android 15 out of the box, making it one of the early budget devices to ship with the latest Android version.
Camera capabilities include a 50 megapixel primary sensor backed by AI features, which are likely aimed at enhancing photography in different lighting conditions. While full camera details are yet to be revealed, the inclusion of AI tools suggests a focus on ease of use for casual photographers.
Battery life is another highlight. The device is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery, a standard yet reliable capacity for all day usage. Charging will be handled via a USB Type C port, keeping it in line with current connectivity standards.
The Lava Bold N2 Pro 4G will also carry an IP54 rating, offering basic protection against dust and splashes. In terms of design, the smartphone will be available in two color options, Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold, giving users a choice between subtle and more vibrant finishes.
With its combination of essential features and updated software, Lava latest offering reflects the brandβs continued push to strengthen its position in India budget smartphone market.
