Suzuki Access 125 Gains Strong Demand, Cheaper Than Activa and Known for High Mileage

Suzuki Access 125 continues to attract buyers in India with strong sales and competitive pricing. The scooter ranks among the top-selling models while offering practical mileage and affordability.

Strong Sales Push Suzuki Access 125 Into Top Scooter List

Scooters remain extremely popular in India because they are easy to ride and do not require frequent gear changes like motorcycles. Among them, the Suzuki Access 125 has been consistently performing well in the market and continues to attract strong demand.

According to recent sales data for February 2026, the scooter secured the third position in the list of India’s top 10 best-selling scooters. The first two spots were occupied by the Honda Activa and the TVS Jupiter, while the Suzuki model maintained steady growth in monthly sales.

The report indicates that 70,137 units of the Suzuki Access 125 were sold in February 2026. In comparison, the scooter recorded 59,039 units in February 2025, showing an increase of 11,098 units year-on-year. This translates to a significant 18.80 percent growth in sales.

Competitive Pricing Compared to Rivals

Another factor contributing to the scooter’s popularity is its pricing. The entry-level Suzuki Access 125 currently starts at around ₹82,106 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.

This price is noticeably lower than one of its direct competitors, the Honda Activa 125, which begins at approximately ₹89,256. The top-end variant of the Suzuki Access 125, however, can go up to around ₹1,02,301 (ex-showroom) depending on features and specifications.

Suzuki has also introduced an electric version called the Suzuki e-Access, which is priced at about ₹1,91,962 (ex-showroom).

Possible CNG Version Could Boost Mileage

Industry reports suggest that Suzuki may also be considering a CNG-powered version of the Access 125 for the Indian market, although the company has not officially confirmed the plan yet.

If launched, the CNG model is expected to deliver impressive fuel efficiency of around 90 km per kg, making it one of the most economical scooters in its category. The estimated ex-showroom price could range between ₹88,000 and ₹90,000.

If these expectations become reality, the upcoming variant could attract even more buyers who prioritize mileage and lower running costs, potentially pushing the Suzuki Access 125 to even stronger sales in the future.
