Residents have been advised to wear warm clothing, especially during the morning and night hours, and avoid prolonged exposure to cold winds. People have also been urged to seek medical attention immediately if they experience symptoms such as breathing difficulties, fever or other cold-related health issues.
The cold wave is likely to persist until December 22, according to weather officials. In view of the forecast, authorities have appealed to the public to follow precautionary measures and stay alert until conditions return to normal.
