DK Shivakumar has also appealed to the respective organizations and companies to give three days leave so that Biharis can go to their state and vote.

Tweeting about this, DK Shivakumar said that in the wake of the Bihar state general elections to be held on November 6 and 11, 2025, all companies, entrepreneurs, hotels and contractors should give at least three days of paid leave to facilitate the voters of Bihar working across Bengaluru and Karnataka to vote.

Through this, he has requested them to cooperate and actively participate in the democratic process. The elections for the 243 seats of the Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases, and this election is important for the Congress this time. In this context, prominent politicians from Karnataka are also campaigning in the Bihar Assembly elections.

DJ Shivakumar met the members of the Bengaluru Residents Association of Bihar origin at the Coffee Board Layout in Byatarayanapura on Sunday and appealed to them to vote for the Mahaghatbandhan for the development of Bihar and to vote for us for their relatives. At the same time, he promised to build a community hall for Biharis in Bengaluru.
