LPG Cylinders price down today: Check new price in major cities

LPG Cylinders price: On September 1, 2025, oil marketing companies in India announced a price cut for 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders. The price has been reduced by a range of Rs 50.5 to Rs 51.5 across major cities.

Here are the new prices for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in some major cities, effective from September 1, 2025:

Delhi: Rs 1,580 (a decrease of Rs 51.50)

Kolkata: Rs 1,684 (a decrease of Rs 50.50)

Mumbai: Rs 1,531.50 (a decrease of Rs 51.00)

Chennai: Rs 1,738 (a decrease of Rs 51.00)

It is important to note that this price cut applies only to commercial LPG cylinders. The prices for 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.

As stated, the new price in Delhi is Rs 1,580, which is a reduction of Rs 51.50 from the previous month’s price of Rs 1,631.50. This marks the steepest price cut among major metropolitan cities.

This price reduction is expected to benefit commercial consumers, such as restaurants and hotels, which heavily rely on these cylinders for their daily operations. It is important to note that the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.

In Kolkata, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been cut by Rs 50.50, bringing the new price to Rs 1,684. This is a reduction from the previous month’s price of Rs 1,734.50.
