However, the win has now become a source of controversy as a video of CSK pacer Khaleel Ahmed and Gaikwad going viral on social media.

In the video, the two can be seen exchanging some items before Gaikwad puts them in his pocket, which led to criticism from a section of fans who accused him of being involved in a possible “ball tampering”.
By the time he got to the camera, Khaleel had taken the ball from Ruturaj and given something to the CSK captain. Ruturaj walked away and something was seen slipping into his pocket. Ashutosh Sharma’s brilliant 66 runs helped Delhi Capitals secure a thrilling win over LSG. Chasing a target of 210 runs, Delhi Capitals achieved a convincing victory over Lucknow Supergiants with just three balls to spare.
The star of the night was Ashutosh Sharma, who scored an unbeaten 66 off just 31 balls, helping DC to a stunning victory of 211/9 in 19.3 overs. Earlier, LSG posted an imposing 209/8, riding on explosive innings from Mitchell Marsh (72 off 36) and Nicholas Pooran (75 off 30).
The duo’s fireworks propelled Lucknow past the 200-run mark despite Delhi’s bowlers striking at regular intervals. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers for DC, finishing with 3/42, while Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with two crucial wickets.
With 18 needed off the last two overs, Ashutosh held his nerve, smashing boundaries at will to seal a thrilling win for Delhi Capitals.
