Sony Xperia 1 IX May Get a Larger Camera Module

Sony appears to be preparing its next flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 IX, and the camera system could be one of the biggest changes coming to the new model. A recent report suggests that the company may use a larger primary camera sensor than the one found on the Xperia 1 VIII.

The reported sensor upgrade could also affect the design of the rear camera section. Sony is expected to retain a rectangular camera module, but its larger size could give the back panel a noticeably different appearance.
