iPhone and OnePlus to Nothing Phones Get Major Price Hikes
Smartphone prices have climbed across several major brands in India, with Apple, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo and Nothing raising prices on selected models by up to ₹30,000 recently.

Apple is not the only smartphone maker to increase prices in India. Several popular brands, including OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo and Nothing, have also raised the prices of selected smartphones compared with their original launch prices. The changes mean buyers looking for premium and upper mid range phones may now have to spend considerably more.
Among the models mentioned, the iPhone Air has seen the biggest increase. Its 256GB version was launched at ₹1,19,900 but is now listed on Apple’s website at ₹1,49,900. That represents a ₹30,000 increase over the original launch price.
The iPhone 17 has also become significantly more expensive. Its 256GB model initially arrived at ₹82,900 and is now priced at ₹99,900. Buyers therefore face a ₹17,000 increase compared with the launch price.
The iPhone 17e has seen a smaller but still noticeable increase. The 256GB version was introduced at ₹64,900 and is now listed at ₹79,900, making it ₹15,000 more expensive than its original price.
Apple has also changed its current product lineup following the launch of the newer iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been removed from Apple’s official website, while the iPhone 17, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air remain available with revised prices.
OnePlus has also increased prices on the OnePlus 15. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version was launched in November last year at ₹72,999. It is now listed at ₹85,999, representing an increase of ₹13,000.
The higher storage version has also become costlier. The 16GB RAM and 512GB model was launched at ₹79,999 and is now listed at ₹93,999. This puts the current price ₹14,000 above the original launch figure.
Vivo has followed a similar pattern with its X300 FE. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model was launched in May 2026 for ₹79,999. Its current listed price is ₹89,999, which means customers now pay ₹10,000 more.
The 12GB RAM and 512GB version of the Vivo X300 FE has also received a ₹10,000 increase. It was launched at ₹89,999 and is currently listed at ₹99,999.
Oppo Find X9s buyers are also facing a higher price. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model was introduced in May 2026 at ₹79,999 and is now listed at ₹84,999.
The 12GB RAM and 512GB version has moved from its launch price of ₹89,999 to ₹94,999. Both configurations therefore carry a ₹5,000 increase over their original prices.
Nothing has recorded another notable increase with the Phone 4a. Its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant was launched at ₹31,999 and is now listed at ₹44,999. The difference stands at ₹13,000.
The 8GB RAM and 256GB model has become ₹15,000 more expensive. It was launched at ₹34,999 and is currently listed at ₹49,999.
The 12GB RAM and 256GB version has also increased in price. This configuration was introduced at ₹37,999 and is now listed at ₹50,999, resulting in a ₹13,000 increase.
The price changes across these brands give smartphone shoppers another factor to consider before making a purchase. A phone that appeared attractive at launch may now sit in a noticeably different price bracket.
For Apple, the increase is particularly visible on the iPhone Air and iPhone 17. OnePlus has seen increases of up to ₹14,000 on the OnePlus 15, while Vivo’s X300 FE is ₹10,000 costlier across both listed configurations.
Oppo’s increase is comparatively lower at ₹5,000, while Nothing has raised selected Phone 4a configurations by as much as ₹15,000.
The reasons behind individual price revisions can vary, and listed prices may change again depending on the company, retailer and available promotions. Buyers should therefore check the current price before placing an order rather than relying on the original launch price.
For shoppers planning to upgrade soon, comparing different models and checking current offers could become more important as these price increases change the value proposition of several popular smartphones in the Indian market.
