Jio Rs 3599 Annual Plan Gets Extra Data And AI Benefits

Reliance Jio has added several benefits to its Rs 3599 annual prepaid plan as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. The updated offer gives customers additional data along with entertainment services, cloud storage and access to Google Gemini Pro.

The plan is particularly interesting because Airtel and Vodafone Idea also have annual prepaid options priced at Rs 3599. While the basic price and validity are similar, the benefits offered by each telecom company are quite different.

For customers planning to spend around Rs 3599 on a yearly recharge, the choice may therefore depend on how much data they use and whether they care more about entertainment, AI services or special data features.

Jio has kept the validity of its Rs 3599 plan at 365 days. Customers receive 2.5GB of high speed data every day, which adds up to 912.5GB during the normal validity period.

The company has added another 120GB as bonus data under its anniversary offer. This additional data is provided through data booster vouchers, with 10GB offered each month for 12 months.

When the regular daily data and bonus data are considered together, the total potential high speed data becomes 1032.5GB during the year, subject to the applicable terms of the plan and bonus vouchers.

Unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS every day are also included. Customers with compatible 5G devices can also receive unlimited 5G data according to the applicable terms and coverage conditions.

The entertainment package is another area where Jio is trying to make the annual plan more attractive. The recharge includes a JioHotstar Mobile and Hollywood subscription along with 12 JioTV Pro vouchers.

The JioTV Pro vouchers provide access to more than 1000 live television channels through the JioTV service, giving the plan an additional entertainment angle for customers who regularly watch television content on their phones.

Airtel adds a 12 month Adobe Express Premium subscription to the package. This could be useful for people who create posters, social media content or other digital material.

The Airtel plan also includes security related features through Airtel Safe. These include spam call alerts and protection against certain fraudulent links and OTP related risks. Entertainment benefits such as HelloTunes and Airtel Xstream Play are also part of the offering.

Vodafone Idea, commonly known as Vi, is taking a different route with its Rs 3599 annual recharge. The plan provides 365 days of validity and 2GB daily data, but adds features aimed at users with specific usage patterns.

One of the notable benefits is Half Day Unlimited Data, which allows unlimited data usage between midnight and noon under the plans applicable conditions. This can be useful for customers who regularly consume large amounts of data during the morning.

Vi also offers Weekend Data Rollover. Data left unused during the weekday period can be carried forward for use during Saturday and Sunday, giving customers more flexibility with their daily allowance.

Looking at all three plans, Jio has the highest regular daily data allowance at 2.5GB, compared with 2GB on both Airtel and Vi. Its 120GB bonus data further increases the overall potential data available during the year.
