Redmi M100 Launched With 7900mAh Battery and 45W Charging
Redmi has introduced the M100 with a large battery, 120Hz display, Snapdragon processor, and practical camera features aimed at users seeking everyday value.

Redmi has added another budget focused smartphone to its lineup with the launch of the M100. The device stands out mainly for its large 7900mAh battery and support for 45W wired fast charging.
The Redmi M100 is available in Midnight Black, Starry White and Wilderness Green. The Wilderness Green version gets a distinctive appearance, with RGB dynamic lighting around the rear camera section adding a different touch to the design.
The phone features a 6.9 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. An eye protection mode is also included for more comfortable viewing.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, an octa core processor built using a 4nm manufacturing process. The phone is offered in multiple memory and storage configurations to suit different requirements.
The battery is likely to be one of the main reasons buyers may consider the M100. Its 7900mAh cell supports 45W wired fast charging. The device also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to provide power to compatible accessories and other devices.
Redmi has equipped the rear with a 13MP main camera. Camera features include portrait mode, night mode, live photos, film filters and document scanning. A 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls, with features such as beauty mode, face recognition, portrait mode and night mode.
Other features include NFC, a side mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also supports the PPS charging protocol, giving users the option of compatible third party fast chargers.
In China, the Redmi M100 starts at 1799 yuan for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The 6GB RAM and 256GB model costs 1999 yuan, while the higher 8GB RAM and 256GB variant is priced at 2199 yuan.
The Redmi M100 is being sold through the companys official website in the Chinese market. There is currently no confirmed information about its availability in India.
