Oppo A7 Pro Max Set to Debut With Massive 10000mAh Battery

Oppo is preparing to introduce its new A series smartphone, the Oppo A7 Pro Max, with one feature that immediately stands out. The upcoming device is expected to pack a massive 10000mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery capacities seen in a mainstream smartphone. While the company has not revealed the official launch date, pre orders have already begun in China, indicating that the launch is likely to happen soon.

The company has shared an official teaser on Weibo, confirming the battery capacity of the device. According to Oppo, the smartphone will feature a single cell battery with a typical capacity of 10000mAh and a rated capacity of 9700mAh. The phone is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the large battery in significantly less time.

Leaked reports suggest the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78 inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is also expected to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering the latest software experience with improved performance and new features.

Performance is likely to be handled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. The smartphone recently appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with this chipset, hinting that Oppo is targeting users looking for efficient daily performance combined with long battery life.

For photography, the Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to feature a dual rear camera system led by a 50MP primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the device could include a 50MP selfie camera for high resolution selfies and clear video calls.

The teaser also provides a glimpse of the smartphone’s design. It features a raised rectangular camera module with two large circular camera rings on the left, accompanied by two smaller circular cutouts. A separate LED flash carrying Power Flash branding is positioned on the right side of the camera island. The power button and volume controls are placed on the right edge of the handset.

Although Oppo has yet to announce pricing or availability, the start of pre orders in China suggests that more official details could be revealed in the coming days. The combination of a huge battery, fast charging support, modern display and updated software is expected to make the Oppo A7 Pro Max an attractive option in its segment.

The announcement follows the recent launch of the Oppo K15, which features a 6.59 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, dual 50MP rear cameras, a 50MP front camera and an 8000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. With the A7 Pro Max, Oppo appears to be pushing battery capacity even further while maintaining a competitive feature set for users who prioritize long lasting performance.
