DRDO Successfully Tests Quantum Key Distribution System to Strengthen India’s Cyber Security
DRDO has successfully completed military trials of an indigenous quantum communication system developed with a Bengaluru technology company to improve digital security strategic communications and future cyber defence capabilities nationwide.

India has taken another significant step toward strengthening its digital and cyber security infrastructure with the successful military field testing of a fiber based Quantum Key Distribution system developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation. The project was carried out in collaboration with Bengaluru based technology company Taqbit Labs, highlighting the growing role of domestic innovation in national security.
