Lava Virat V1 5G And Virat V1 4G Launch Date Confirmed Ahead Of India Debut

Lava has officially announced the arrival of its new Virat smartphone lineup in India. The company is preparing to introduce the Lava Virat V1 5G along with the Lava Virat V1 4G, marking the beginning of a fresh smartphone series aimed at Indian consumers.

The launch event is scheduled for July 21 at 12 noon. Lava confirmed the date through an official announcement, while a dedicated product page has also gone live on Flipkart. The microsite indicates that the new smartphones will be available for purchase through the ecommerce platform after their official launch.

Ahead of the unveiling, Lava has also revealed the design of both upcoming smartphones. Although the Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G share a similar overall appearance, the two devices feature different rear camera layouts, giving each model its own visual identity.

The Lava Virat V1 4G comes with a square shaped rear camera module that houses two camera sensors. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 13 megapixel primary rear camera along with an LED flash. Its design closely resembles the Lava Smart 4 Plus.

Meanwhile, the Lava Virat V1 5G features a redesigned rear camera module with dual camera sensors and an LED flash arranged in a different layout. The smartphone also gets a distinctive pattern on the rear panel, helping it stand apart from the 4G variant despite sharing the same flat back design.

Lava has confirmed that both smartphones will be offered in Blue and Gold colour options. The devices feature flat side frames with the power button and volume controls placed on the right edge for easy access.

The bottom section of both smartphones includes a USB Type C port, speaker grille, microphone opening, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. These connectivity options suggest that Lava is continuing to include traditional wired audio support alongside modern charging standards.

The Virat V1 5G will become the first smartphone in Lava’s new Virat lineup, with the Virat V1 4G launching alongside it. While the company has not yet revealed detailed hardware specifications or pricing, the early design showcase and launch confirmation have generated interest ahead of the official announcement.

More information about the smartphones, including their processors, displays, battery capacity, software features, cameras, and pricing, is expected to be revealed during the launch event on July 21. Until then, the Virat V1 series appears set to expand Lava’s smartphone portfolio with two new models catering to both 4G and 5G users.
