Motorola has officially expanded its premium tablet lineup in India with the launch of the Moto Pad 70 Pro. Designed for entertainment, productivity and creative work, the new tablet combines flagship grade hardware with a large display, a powerful processor and an impressive battery. Buyers can also take advantage of a limited period bank discount, making the device more affordable at launch.
The Moto Pad 70 Pro will be available in three variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 36999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version costs Rs 39999. Customers looking for a complete productivity package can also choose the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model bundled with a keyboard for Rs 45999. Motorola is offering an instant discount of Rs 4000 on purchases made using eligible ICICI Bank cards, reducing the effective prices to Rs 32999, Rs 35999 and Rs 41999 respectively. Sales will begin on July 4 through Flipkart, Motorola India and leading retail stores across the country.
One of the biggest highlights of the tablet is its large 13 inch LTPS IPS display. The screen delivers a sharp 3.5K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. It also supports up to 800 nits peak brightness, covers 99 percent of the DCI P3 colour gamut and offers 10 point multitouch support. To improve viewing comfort during extended use, Motorola has equipped the display with multiple TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker free viewing and eye protection.
Powering the Moto Pad 70 Pro is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with the Adreno 825 GPU. The tablet comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and is available with either 128GB UFS 3.1 storage or 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Users who need additional space can expand storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card. The device runs on Android 16 or a later software version, offering a modern and responsive user experience.
Battery performance is another major strength of the new tablet. Motorola has packed a large 10200mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. According to the company, a full charge can deliver up to 12.5 hours of continuous YouTube streaming. Even a quick 10 minute charge is claimed to provide around two hours of video streaming, making it convenient for users with busy schedules.
The Moto Pad 70 Pro also focuses heavily on multimedia performance. It features four JBL speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology for immersive sound. Dual microphones improve voice quality during online meetings and video calls. Motorola has also bundled the Moto Pen Pro stylus with the tablet, allowing users to take notes, sketch, edit documents and work more efficiently without purchasing additional accessories.
For photography and video communication, the tablet includes a 13 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video conferencing. While cameras are not the primary focus of tablets, the setup is expected to handle everyday imaging and virtual meetings comfortably.
The tablet features a premium metal body that is both slim and durable. It measures just 6.20mm in thickness, extending to 7.60mm around the camera module, and weighs approximately 598 grams. Motorola is offering the device in a Pantone Titan colour finish, giving it a clean and premium appearance. The IP52 rating also provides protection against dust and light water splashes, making it more reliable for everyday use.
With a flagship processor, a large high resolution display, bundled stylus support, fast charging and a generous battery, the Moto Pad 70 Pro aims to compete strongly in the premium Android tablet segment. Combined with introductory discounts and multiple storage options, Motorola’s latest launch offers an attractive package for students, professionals and entertainment enthusiasts alike.
