Nothing has officially revealed the design of its upcoming Nothing Phone 4b, giving smartphone enthusiasts an early glimpse before its scheduled launch on July 7. The device will mark the debut of the company’s new b series and is expected to target buyers looking for premium features at a more accessible price. While the brand has only confirmed the launch date and design, several leaks have already hinted at the phone’s hardware and capabilities.
The new smartphone continues Nothing’s signature design language with a transparent rear panel and the familiar Glyph lighting interface. According to the company, the Phone 4b combines elements from the Phone 4a Pro and the standard Phone 4a, creating a fresh look while maintaining the brand’s unique identity. Promotional images also reveal a dual rear camera setup and a Sky Blue colour option.
Industry reports suggest the Nothing Phone 4b could feature a 6.32 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. For performance, the handset is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, the same chipset that has earned praise for delivering smooth performance in the midrange smartphone category. This combination is expected to provide an efficient experience for gaming, multitasking and everyday use.
The camera department may also receive meaningful upgrades. Early reports indicate that the phone could include a 50MP primary rear camera supported by Optical Image Stabilisation for sharper photos and steadier videos. On the front, users may get a 32MP selfie camera designed to deliver improved image quality for video calls and social media content.
Battery life is another area where the upcoming device is expected to impress. Leaks point to a 5000mAh battery paired with 50W fast charging support, allowing users to recharge the device quickly while enjoying extended usage throughout the day. The smartphone is also expected to run Nothing OS based on Android and may receive three years of operating system updates along with five years of security updates.
Although the official pricing remains under wraps, market reports suggest the Nothing Phone 4b could be positioned below the Phone 4a lineup. If the speculation proves accurate, the smartphone may launch in India with a starting price between Rs 25000 and Rs 33000, making it a strong contender in the competitive midrange segment.
With its distinctive design, capable hardware and expected competitive pricing, the Nothing Phone 4b is already generating significant attention ahead of its official unveiling. More confirmed details are expected to emerge as the launch event draws closer.
