Lenovo Launches Legion PB9 Power Bank With Massive 24000mAh Battery and 170W Output for High Power Charging Needs

Lenovo has introduced its Legion PB9 power bank with 24000mAh capacity, 170W fast output, gaming laptop support, unique design and advanced safety features targeting heavy users and gamers.

Lenovo has expanded its Legion ecosystem with the launch of the new PB9 170W power bank, a device designed specifically for users who need serious charging power on the go. Unlike conventional power banks that focus mainly on smartphones, this model is clearly built with gaming laptops and high performance devices in mind, offering a mix of high capacity and fast output.

One of the first things that stands out about the Legion PB9 is its unusual design. Instead of the typical rectangular shape, Lenovo has gone for a triangular form factor that gives it a distinctive identity. The semi transparent body along with a built in color display on the front adds a modern and slightly futuristic look. The display shows useful real time information such as remaining battery, input status and charging details, making it more practical than standard indicator lights.

At its core, the device carries a 24000mAh battery with an energy rating of 86.4Wh, making it suitable for multiple charging cycles of laptops, tablets and smartphones. Lenovo has positioned this product as a solution for gamers and professionals who often work or play while traveling and need consistent backup power.

Power output is the main highlight here. The PB9 supports up to 170W total output, delivered through three ports including two USB C ports and one USB A port. According to Lenovo, the USB C ports can deliver up to 140W output, while the USB A port supports up to 30W charging. In dual port usage, the device can intelligently distribute power to deliver 100W and 65W simultaneously, which is especially useful for charging a laptop and another device at the same time.

Safety and build quality have also been given importance. The power bank uses lithium ion battery technology and comes with a VO grade fire resistant enclosure. It is also marketed as a 3C certified safety product, adding an extra layer of reliability for heavy usage scenarios where high wattage charging is involved.

In terms of size, the device measures 171.2 x 70.5 x 61.8 mm and weighs around 710 grams, which is expected given its large capacity and high output capability. While it may not be pocket friendly, it is clearly designed for backpacks and travel setups rather than daily pocket carry.

The Lenovo Legion PB9 has been launched in the Chinese market at a price of 549 yuan, which is approximately 7500 rupees. Early buyers can also get it at a discounted price of around 489 yuan, making it slightly more affordable for launch period customers. It is currently available through Lenovo’s official channels.

With its combination of high capacity, strong output and gaming focused design, the Legion PB9 stands out as a niche but powerful accessory for users who demand more than what traditional power banks offer.
