In many homes, curd rice is more than just food. It is often served at the end of a meal to calm the stomach and bring a soothing feeling after eating spicy dishes. The combination of rice and yogurt makes it gentle on digestion, while a simple tempering adds aroma and flavor that enhances the overall experience.
To prepare this quick version, start by taking a cup of cooked rice and gently mashing it in a bowl until it becomes soft. Add salt, yogurt, and a little water to adjust the consistency. Mix everything well so that the rice absorbs the curd evenly and becomes smooth and creamy.
