Xiaomi Launches New AI Powered Air Conditioner With Ultra Fast Cooling Technology
Xiaomi has introduced a new smart air conditioner featuring AI powered controls fast cooling technology advanced heating performance and smart home connectivity designed for extreme weather and energy efficient operation.

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of a new AI powered air conditioner that promises extremely fast cooling and advanced climate control features. The newly introduced Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Wind Pro arrives as an upgraded version of the company’s earlier model and is aimed at users looking for high performance cooling during intense summer conditions.
The company claims the new air conditioner can begin cooling a room within just 15 seconds after being switched on. It can also deliver warm air in nearly 30 seconds, making it useful for both hot and cold weather conditions. Xiaomi says the upgraded thermal exchange system and improved airflow technology play a major role in achieving this rapid temperature adjustment.
The new model has been launched in China and is currently available through Xiaomi Mall. The air conditioner carries a price tag of 3299 yuan, which roughly converts to around Rs 46500 in India. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed availability for other global markets.
Unlike basic cooling units, the Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Wind Pro focuses heavily on intelligent automation and weather adaptability. It comes with a dedicated AI module that works alongside Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform. Users can also connect the appliance with the company’s wider smart home ecosystem for remote management and automation features.
The air conditioner is designed as a 1.5HP wall mounted split unit and includes a 13cc dual cylinder compressor. Xiaomi has equipped the system with dual row pure copper condensers and evaporators, which are intended to improve heat transfer efficiency and long term durability. Thanks to this setup, the unit delivers cooling capacity up to 6500W while heating output reaches 8800W.
Another highlight of the new AC is its ability to perform in difficult weather conditions. Xiaomi says the appliance can operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius. To maintain stable performance, the company has included an upgraded refrigerant control system that adjusts cooling and heating more effectively during extreme climate changes.
The airflow system has also received attention in this model. Xiaomi has added a 118mm cross flow fan capable of pushing nearly 1000 cubic meters of air every hour. During cooling mode, the AC directs cold air upward toward the ceiling so it spreads gradually across the room before flowing downward naturally. While heating, warm air is pushed closer to the floor to improve comfort during winter months.
Smart functionality remains one of the biggest attractions of the new Xiaomi AC. The device supports XiaoAI voice control, allowing users to operate it through voice commands. It also includes self cleaning technology designed to reduce maintenance needs and improve air hygiene over time. Child lock functionality has been added as an extra safety feature for families with young children.
Industry observers believe companies are increasingly focusing on AI powered appliances as consumers demand smarter and more energy efficient home products. Features such as intelligent temperature adjustment, app connectivity and automated cleaning are quickly becoming standard expectations in the premium appliance segment.
Xiaomi’s latest launch also reflects the growing competition in the smart air conditioning market, where brands are trying to combine cooling performance with connected home experiences. Fast cooling claims and AI integration are becoming key selling points, especially in regions facing extreme summer temperatures.
