Xiaomi Launches 1800W Smart Electric Kettle With Titanium Steel Body

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home appliance portfolio with the launch of a new electric kettle called the Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle Titanium Steel Edition. The latest product focuses on durability, fast heating and long lasting temperature control, making it suitable for users who regularly consume hot water, tea or coffee throughout the day.

The company says the kettle has been designed using premium 316Ti food grade titanium steel, a material known for its resistance to rust and corrosion. Xiaomi claims this special metal helps maintain water quality over long periods of use and prevents unwanted metallic taste from developing inside the kettle.

Unlike traditional kettles that may collect stains or become difficult to clean over time, Xiaomi has used a seamless single piece metal interior in this model. According to the company, this design reduces the buildup of hard water residue and makes maintenance much easier for daily users.

The kettle also comes with a wide 13.5 centimeter opening, allowing users to comfortably reach inside while cleaning. Xiaomi says the larger opening improves convenience and helps maintain hygiene more effectively compared to narrower kettle designs.

One of the major highlights of the appliance is its powerful 1800W heating system. The company claims the high power base allows water to heat quickly, reducing waiting time during busy mornings or work hours. The kettle supports a large 1.7 liter water capacity, making it suitable for families or office use.

Xiaomi has also included a constant temperature mode, which allows users to maintain water at 55 degrees Celsius with a single button press. This feature is designed for people who frequently drink warm water or prepare beverages multiple times throughout the day.

To support temperature retention, the appliance uses a low power PTC insulation system that can reportedly maintain the selected temperature for up to 24 hours. This means users may not need to repeatedly reheat water every few hours, helping improve convenience while also saving energy.

The company says the kettle is especially useful for households where warm water consumption is part of the daily routine. From preparing tea and coffee to baby formula or instant meals, the constant temperature feature can simplify regular kitchen tasks.

The Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle Titanium Steel Edition has been launched in China at a price of 139 Yuan, which roughly translates to around Rs 2000 in Indian currency. The product is currently available through Xiaomi’s Youpin platform.

With premium materials, practical design upgrades and smart heating features, Xiaomi appears to be targeting users looking for a reliable and modern kitchen appliance at an affordable price point.
