Motorola Razr Fold Set for India Launch With High Capacity Battery and Flagship Features

Motorola Razr Fold expected to launch in India soon with powerful chipset dual displays advanced cameras and large silicon carbon battery as foldable smartphone competition intensifies globally

Motorola is preparing to bring its latest foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, to the Indian market. The device has already generated interest after being showcased globally, and its arrival in India appears imminent with a dedicated listing now live on Flipkart.

The upcoming launch highlights Motorola’s push into the growing foldable segment, which has seen steady expansion over the past few years. While South Korean tech giant Samsung continues to dominate this category, competition is expected to intensify further as more brands enter the space with advanced designs and features.

One of the major highlights of the Razr Fold is its large 6000 mAh silicon carbon battery. The device supports 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, addressing one of the common concerns with foldable smartphones which is battery life. This addition is expected to make it more practical for everyday use.

The smartphone features a dual display setup designed for both functionality and premium viewing. On the outside, it offers a 6.6 inch LTPO pOLED cover display with a high refresh rate and strong brightness levels, protected by durable glass technology. Once unfolded, users get access to a larger 8.1 inch inner display with 2K resolution, making it suitable for multitasking, media consumption, and productivity tasks.

Under the hood, the Razr Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with advanced graphics processing for smooth performance. This hardware setup positions it among the top tier foldable devices currently available in the global market.

Camera capabilities are another strong focus. The device includes a triple rear camera system featuring a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a periscope telephoto lens with optical zoom, and an ultra wide angle camera. For selfies and video calls, it offers two front cameras placed on both the outer and inner displays, ensuring usability in both folded and unfolded modes.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, WiFi, NFC, GPS, and USB Type C, covering all modern communication needs. Its design allows it to remain compact when folded while expanding into a tablet like form factor when opened, balancing portability with screen size.

The Razr Fold has already been introduced in select global markets and showcased at major industry events, building anticipation for its wider rollout. Although the exact launch date in India has not yet been confirmed, the presence of a microsite suggests that availability could be announced soon.

With its combination of powerful hardware, large battery, and flexible design, Motorola’s latest foldable is expected to appeal to users looking for a premium smartphone experience that goes beyond traditional form factors.
