OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Surfaces Ahead of Launch with Massive Battery and Gaming Focus

New OnePlus smartphone listing reveals high capacity battery fast charging advanced display and gaming features as company prepares to launch device in China with multiple storage configurations

A new flagship level smartphone from OnePlus is set to debut in China, and early details suggest a strong focus on battery life and gaming performance. The upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra has already appeared on China Telecom listings, giving a closer look at its design and specifications before the official launch.

One of the most striking features is its massive 8600mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is typically seen in this segment. The company claims that users can expect extended gaming sessions, with up to seven hours of gameplay on a single charge. Even more notable is the fast charging capability, where just ten minutes of charging could provide enough power for around two hours of gaming.

The device is also expected to include advanced battery optimization technology powered by a chip developed by Oppo. This component is designed to improve energy efficiency and extend battery backup under different temperature conditions, offering better performance even in colder environments.

In terms of performance, the smartphone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, positioning it as a high performance device suitable for demanding tasks and gaming. It is expected to launch in multiple configurations, with RAM options going up to 16GB and storage reaching as high as 1TB, giving users flexibility based on their needs.

The display is another area where the device aims to impress. Reports suggest a large 6.78 inch screen built using BOE panel technology, offering 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Features such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support are expected to enhance visual quality, while protective glass aims to improve durability.

Camera capabilities, while secondary to performance, still play an important role. The Ace 6 Ultra is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by an additional lens for supporting shots. On the front, a 16 megapixel camera is likely to handle selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is also being positioned as a gaming centric device. It is expected to support a new accessory, a dedicated gaming controller designed to enhance gameplay with physical triggers. Combined with dual stereo speakers, the device aims to deliver an immersive experience for mobile gamers.

Software wise, the phone is likely to run on the latest Android version with a custom interface, offering updated features and smoother performance. Pre reservations for the device have already begun in China, indicating strong early interest.

With its official launch scheduled soon, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra appears to be targeting users who prioritize battery endurance, gaming capabilities, and high end specifications. If these early details hold true, the device could stand out in an increasingly competitive premium smartphone market.
