Vivo X500 Series Leak Reveals High Refresh Display and Advanced Biometrics

Upcoming Vivo flagship lineup may feature 144Hz displays ultrasonic fingerprint sensors powerful chipsets and large batteries as leaks hint at premium upgrades ahead of expected launch later this year

New details about the upcoming Vivo X500 series have surfaced online, offering an early look at what the company could bring to its next generation flagship range. While the brand has not made any official announcement, leaks suggest a strong focus on display quality and hardware performance.

According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the series could include multiple models with varying display sizes and resolutions. One variant is expected to feature a compact 6.37 inch panel, while another may offer a larger screen close to 6.85 inches with a sharper 2K resolution. A third option could sit in between, giving users more flexibility based on their preferences.

Across the lineup, a key highlight is likely to be the 144Hz refresh rate, which promises smoother scrolling and an improved visual experience, especially for gaming and multimedia use. In addition, all models are expected to include a 3D ultrasonic in display fingerprint sensor, which could offer faster and more secure unlocking compared to traditional optical solutions.

The premium end of the lineup, possibly the Vivo X500 Pro Max, may push camera capabilities further. Leaks indicate a triple rear camera system that could include a high end Sony sensor along with a 200 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. This setup may be aimed at enhancing zoom performance and low light photography.

Performance is another area where the series is expected to evolve. The devices could be powered by next generation MediaTek chipsets, with the base model likely using the Dimensity 9600, while higher variants may feature a more powerful Pro version of the same processor. This would position the phones to handle demanding applications and multitasking with ease.

Battery capacity may also see a noticeable jump, particularly in the top model, which is rumored to include a battery around the 7000mAh mark. Such a large battery could appeal to users who prioritize longer usage times without frequent charging.

Based on the company’s previous launch cycles, the standard Vivo X500 and its Pro variant are expected to debut around October this year. However, final details will only become clear once the company makes an official announcement.

As competition intensifies in the premium smartphone segment, Vivo appears to be preparing a lineup that balances display innovation, camera upgrades, and battery performance. If the leaks are accurate, the X500 series could become a strong contender in the flagship market.
