Redmi K90 Max Appears on Geekbench Before Launch Revealing Key Performance Details
The upcoming Redmi K90 Max has surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its China launch, hinting at powerful specs including Dimensity 9500 chip Android 16 software and high end gaming focused performance features

Xiaomi is preparing to expand its Redmi lineup with the upcoming Redmi K90 Max, which is expected to launch in the Chinese market soon. While the company has already hinted at its arrival, the device has now made an appearance on Geekbench, revealing important details about its performance and hardware configuration.
The benchmark listing confirms that the phone carries the model number 2604FRK1EC and is powered by an octa core chipset based on ARMv8 architecture. The configuration and clock speeds strongly suggest the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, the same high end chipset seen in several next generation flagship devices. The CPU setup includes an ultra core running at 4.21GHz, three performance cores at 3.50GHz and four efficiency focused cores at 2.70GHz, pointing toward a balanced yet powerful computing experience.
According to the Geekbench 6 results, the Redmi K90 Max scored 3513 in single core performance and 10711 in multi core performance, indicating a strong capability for demanding tasks and gaming workloads. The listing also suggests that the device may come with up to 16GB RAM, although the benchmark shows around 14.88GB usable memory, which is likely rounded up for the final retail variant.
On the software side, the smartphone is expected to launch with Android 16 out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface. This combination is aimed at delivering a smoother and more optimized user experience, especially for power users who rely on heavy multitasking and gaming performance.
In addition to the benchmark leak, Redmi has also started teasing key display specifications. The Redmi K90 Max is expected to feature a 6.83 inch high refresh rate gaming display with support for 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 3500 nits. The phone is also designed to support 165FPS gaming in more than 40 titles, making it one of the few devices focused heavily on ultra smooth mobile gaming.
To enhance responsiveness, the display is said to include a 480Hz multi finger touch sampling rate and an extremely fast 3500Hz instantaneous touch response. Redmi claims the panel has undergone rigorous testing with millions of touch interactions, ensuring durability and consistent performance under intense usage conditions.
With its powerful chipset, high refresh rate display and gaming centric optimizations, the Redmi K90 Max is shaping up to be one of the most performance focused smartphones in its segment ahead of launch.
