Apple appears to be preparing its long anticipated entry into the foldable smartphone segment, and early leaks are already painting a picture of what could be a premium and refined device. The rumored model, often referred to as the iPhone Ultra, is expected to bring a fresh design approach along with powerful hardware.
A recently surfaced concept video by Front Page Tech has showcased a detailed 3D render of the foldable iPhone. According to these visuals, the device could feature an extremely subtle display crease, estimated to be around 0.15 mm, addressing one of the biggest concerns in foldable devices today.
Reports suggest that Apple may use advanced hinge engineering involving liquid metal components combined with 3D printed parts. The display itself could rely on technology supplied by Samsung, known for its expertise in foldable panels. This combination is expected to enhance durability while maintaining a smooth folding mechanism.
The design language is said to be different from existing foldables. Instead of a tall and narrow form, Apple may opt for a wider and shorter build. When unfolded, the device could resemble a standard iPhone but with a larger screen, offering a more immersive and tablet like interface.

On the hardware front, the foldable iPhone is expected to feature a dual camera setup with 48 megapixel primary and ultra wide sensors. Battery capacity could reach approximately 5800 mAh, which would be significant for a foldable device and may support extended usage.
Another notable detail comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who claims that Apple may use a dual layer glass structure combining ultra thin glass and flexible glass. This could further reduce visible creasing and improve screen resilience over time.
Performance is also expected to be a highlight. The device could be powered by a next generation chipset built on a 2 nanometer process, promising improved efficiency and speed. When unfolded, the user interface may resemble that of an iPad, allowing users to run two apps side by side, a feature not currently available on standard iPhones.
