Xiaomi Launches Mijia Garment Steamer 2 With Rapid Heat and Six Ironing Modes
The new Xiaomi Mijia Garment Steamer 2 promises to remove deep wrinkles quickly, heats up in just 65 seconds, offers six adjustable fabric modes, and comes with advanced dual heating technology.

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest Mijia Garment Steamer 2, designed to tackle stubborn wrinkles efficiently while protecting fabrics from damage. The device delivers a powerful 120g per minute steam output that penetrates deep into clothing fibers, ensuring a smooth finish even on difficult areas.
Equipped with a 500kPa electromagnetic pump, the steamer can project steam and spray up to 150 centimeters, allowing users to reach collars, sleeves, and pleats effortlessly. Its dual heating system features separate boilers to prevent over-wetting, making it suitable for a variety of fabrics. The steamer heats up in just 65 seconds, eliminating long wait times for ironing.
Xiaomi has included six dedicated ironing modes that allow users to adjust temperature according to the type of fabric. Cotton can be steamed at 145 degrees Celsius, silk at 110 degrees, synthetics at 125 degrees, linen at 160 degrees, blended fabrics at 115 degrees, and wool at 130 degrees. An NTC temperature control system ensures clothes are not scorched or damaged during use.
The Mijia Garment Steamer 2 features an 8.75-inch ceramic glazed iron panel and a visible water tank large enough to steam up to 15 garments in a single session. It offers both dry and wet ironing options and includes an auto-off safety feature that powers down the device after eight minutes of inactivity. Additionally, the steamer is capable of sterilizing up to 99.99 percent of bacteria on clothing surfaces.
Priced at 599 yuan, roughly 8,000 Indian rupees, the Xiaomi Mijia Garment Steamer 2 will be available on Xiaomi’s Youpin platform. Crowdfunding for the device begins on April 6, giving early adopters a chance to experience its advanced ironing technology firsthand.
