Xiaomi 17T Pro Launches With 7000mAh Battery and Flagship Camera Features

Xiaomi has unveiled the premium 17T Pro smartphone featuring a massive 7000mAh battery, powerful MediaTek chipset, advanced camera setup and ultra smooth OLED display for flagship users globally.

Xiaomi has officially expanded its premium smartphone lineup with the launch of the Xiaomi 17T Pro during an event held in Austria. The latest flagship device arrives with top end specifications including a massive 7000mAh battery, advanced camera system and a high refresh rate OLED display aimed at power users and mobile photography enthusiasts.

The company appears to be focusing heavily on performance and battery endurance with this release. As flagship smartphones continue to push gaming, AI features and multimedia consumption, battery capacity and charging speed have become major selling points for consumers worldwide.

One of the biggest highlights of the Xiaomi 17T Pro is its large 7000mAh battery. Xiaomi has paired it with 100W HyperCharge support and 50W wireless charging technology, promising faster charging experiences despite the huge battery size. The smartphone is expected to appeal strongly to users who prefer long lasting battery backup for gaming, streaming and multitasking.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a large 6.83 inch 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate along with Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus technologies for improved visual quality. Xiaomi claims the display can reach up to 3500 nits peak brightness, which may significantly improve outdoor visibility.

Powering the smartphone is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 3nm octa core processor. The chipset is paired with a 12 core Mali G1 Ultra GPU and MediaTek NPU 990 for AI related tasks. The device comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage variants up to 1TB UFS 4.1.

On the software side, the smartphone runs Android 16 based Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Xiaomi has also included several premium connectivity options including 5G SA and NSA support, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS and USB Type C connectivity.

Photography is another major attraction of the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The smartphone houses a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization support. The device also includes a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle camera and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS support.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone offers a 32 megapixel front camera. Xiaomi has also equipped the phone with an in display fingerprint scanner for security and convenience.

The device carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water exposure. In terms of design, the smartphone measures 8.25mm in thickness and weighs around 219 grams.

Xiaomi has launched the 17T Pro in Deep Blue, Deep Violet and Black color options. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model starts at EUR 899.99, while higher storage variants go up to EUR 1099.99. The smartphone is already available in several European and UK markets, while the Xiaomi 17T series is expected to debut in India on June 4.
