WordPress Campus Connect Udupi Empowers 65 Students at Dr. B.B. Hegde College, Kundapura
WordPress Campus Connect: In an inspiring stride toward digital empowerment, 65 students of Dr. B.B. Hegde College, Kundapura, took their first leap into the world of web creation through WordPress Campus Connect Udupi, a global initiative that enables students to learn, build, and launch websites using the world’s most popular content management system WordPress.
As part of this hands-on workshop, students not only designed but also launched their first-ever live websites with the support of WordPress.com’s free one-year plan, transforming classroom learning into real-world experience.
A Global Movement, A Local Milestone:
WordPress Campus Connect (WPCC) is an official worldwide community program under the WordPress open-source project. It brings experiential learning and open collaboration to educational institutions, encouraging students to explore web creation, publishing, and contribution within the global WordPress ecosystem.
At Kundapura, the event was hosted by Dr. B.B. Hegde College, which extended full support to the initiative. The program was graced by:
