Vivo V40e 5G Gets Major Price Cut on Flipkart With 50MP Cameras and IP64 Rating
The Vivo V40e 5G now costs less than its launch price, bringing a curved AMOLED display, 50MP cameras, large battery and fast charging at a reduced price.

The Vivo V40e 5G has become a more interesting option for buyers looking for a feature packed smartphone at a lower price. Launched in India at Rs 28999, the phone is currently listed on Flipkart for Rs 24991. This brings the price down by about Rs 4000 compared with its original launch price.
The effective price can drop further for eligible buyers using the available bank offer. A Flipkart Axis Bank credit card offer can provide an additional discount of around Rs 1250, making the deal more attractive for customers who already have access to the payment option.
The Vivo V40e was introduced around two years ago, but its specifications still make it relevant in the current mid range smartphone segment. Instead of focusing only on the age of the device, buyers can look at its display, camera hardware, battery capacity and charging support, all of which remain useful for everyday use.
The phone comes with a 6.77 inch Full HD Plus 3D curved AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps make scrolling and compatible animations appear smoother. Vivo has also included a wet touch feature, allowing the screen to respond when operated with wet fingers.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. This combination is aimed at users who want enough performance for regular applications, multitasking and entertainment without moving into the premium price segment.
Photography is another major part of the Vivo V40e package. The rear camera system consists of a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The OIS support can help reduce the effect of hand movement while taking photos and recording videos.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 50MP front camera. Vivo also claims that both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, giving users more flexibility when creating video content.
Battery life is handled by a 5500mAh battery. The device supports 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the large battery relatively quickly when compared with phones that offer slower charging systems.
The Vivo V40e also carries an IP64 rating, which provides protection against dust and water splashes. It comes with an in display fingerprint sensor and weighs about 183 grams, keeping the device reasonably light despite its large battery.
For buyers considering the current deal, the reduced price is the main attraction. The phone is listed at Rs 24991 on Flipkart, while eligible customers may be able to reduce the effective price further through the bank offer. EMI payment is also available, with the listed three month option costing around Rs 8553 per month.
The Vivo V40e 5G may therefore appeal to customers who want a curved AMOLED screen, high resolution cameras, a large battery and fast charging without spending close to Rs 30000. However, buyers should check the latest selling price, stock availability and applicable bank terms before placing an order, as online offers can change.
