Vivo T5 Pro 5G Launches with Massive Battery and High Refresh Display in India

Vivo introduces a feature packed smartphone with powerful battery fast charging smooth AMOLED display and gaming focused performance targeting users who want durability speed and long term software support

Vivo has unveiled its latest mid range smartphone, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G, bringing a mix of performance focused hardware and long lasting battery capabilities to the Indian market. The device stands out for its unusually large battery and emphasis on gaming and display quality.

One of the key highlights is the 9020mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is typically seen in this segment. The company has paired it with 90W fast charging support, claiming that the phone can reach around 50 percent charge in under 40 minutes. Vivo also states that the battery is designed to maintain its health over several years of usage, addressing long term reliability concerns.

The smartphone features a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With peak brightness going up to 1600 nits, the screen is built to remain visible even in bright outdoor conditions. This combination of high refresh rate and brightness is expected to appeal to users who consume a lot of video content or play fast paced games.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Vivo has also included a vapor cooling system to manage heat during extended gaming sessions. According to the company, the phone is capable of supporting high frame rate gaming, offering up to 120 FPS in compatible titles.

Camera capabilities include a 50 megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization, aimed at improving clarity and reducing blur in photos and videos. A secondary depth sensor assists with portrait shots. On the front, a 32 megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls, catering to social media and communication needs.

The device runs on Android 16 with Vivo’s custom OriginOS 6 interface. The company has committed to providing three years of operating system updates along with five years of security patches, which could make the phone a more future proof option for buyers.

In terms of durability, the phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance against dust and water. Despite packing a large battery, the design remains relatively slim at just over 8mm, balancing performance with usability.

Pricing for the Vivo T5 Pro 5G starts at Rs 29999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while higher configurations go up to Rs 39999. The device is available in multiple color options and can be purchased through official and online retail channels.

With its combination of a high capacity battery, premium display, and gaming oriented features, Vivo is clearly aiming to attract users who want endurance and performance without stepping into flagship pricing territory.
